Seremba Eddy

Talent Development Manager / Manager, Bantu Cultural Troupe

Edward “Eddy” Luwukya is a versatile performer, educator, and mentor whose leadership has been central to the growth of Rockies Organization. Born in Masaka City, Eddy discovered his artistic talent early, excelling in dance, drumming, singing, and acting. After losing his father during his childhood, he relied on his creativity to support his education and pursue a university degree.

His journey in performing arts began in school performing arts clubs and later with Drumbeat, a local dance troupe in Masaka. In 2009, while studying at St. Lawrence University, Eddy joined the Ndere Troupe, gaining international exposure and refining his artistic skills.

Eddy joined Rockies formally in 2013 as a Master Trainer, later taking on the role of Talent Development Manager. He has since mentored hundreds of young performers, guiding them from basic skill levels to professional artistry. His expertise in Ugandan traditional dances and African contemporary performance has shaped the troupe’s excellence and authenticity.

Eddy envisions establishing a dedicated performing arts center for the Rockies Organization, a space that enhances artistic training, promotes creative innovation, and generates sustainable income for the organization. His dream is to see young artists thrive with dignity, purpose, and pride in their cultural identity.
