Esther Tuhirirwe is the Costume and Make-up Officer at Rockies Organization, a role she stepped into after several years of capacity building within the organization. She joined Rockies Organization in 2016 as a beneficiary and has since transitioned into staff through hands-on training, supervision, structured mentorship and professional development.

She is a qualified cosmetologist and hairdresser, having completed her training at Buganda Royal Institute, Kampala. In addition to her professional certification, Esther runs her own hair and beauty salon – Esther’s Touch – based in Makerere, Kampala Thus has given her practical business and industry experience that directly informs her work at the organization.

In her role, Esther is responsible for costume coordination, stage make-up, and overall visual presentation of performers, while also mentoring younger beneficiaries in costume care, hair dressing, and basic make-up skills. Her journey reflects Rockies Organization’s commitment to nurturing talent into skilled professionals and leaders.
