Ugandan cultural drumming group, Rockies Troupe, last Friday performed at the unveiling of 112-feet statue of Yoga Founder’s Face – Adiyogi Shiva – hosted by the Isha Yoga centre in south India.
The event, which was telecast in seven languages on different cable channels to over 500 million people, was also graced by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Rockies troupe who recently scooped the Ekkula Pearl of Africa Tourism Award, last year performed at Speke Resort Hotel, Munyonyo, when Sadhguru came to Uganda.
And this, according to their leader Ssozi Brian., could be one of the reasons they got invited since while they performed, Sadhguru himself stood up to shake a bit.
